Easy Social Security Validation provides validation against a given Social Security Number. This validation identifies invalid Social Security Numbers in addition to associating the SSN with individuals listed on the Death Master Index (DMI). This is a good search to perform on individuals you may suspect of using a false social security number. Be aware that this check will not tell you who the social security number belongs, only that the number is valid and what state it was issued in.
